In semi-arid northern Kenya water is hard to find....when it rains it rushes in great torrents down the dry river beds, carrying everything in its wake. In the dry season the water disappears beneath the sand and we see the reality of living in this beautiful but hostile place. The people possess the secret of joy, it gives them the strength they need to confront the hardships of survival day to day.
